Cambridge Gardens Youth Space

Following requests from local residents for a youth skate and scooter space in Cambridge Gardens, Council commissioned PLAYCE consultants to speak to those residents, investigate the site and come up with some concept designs for the community to consider.

They found that a multipurpose youth activity space including skate and scooter elements might be appropriate.

Construction of the facility is currently unfunded, but Council has identified it as an advocacy priority in the lead-up to the next State and Federal elections. Finding out what the local community wants will help us decide on the future of this project and seek funding sources.

Talk to the designer and have your say

Drop in any time between 11am and 2pm on Saturday 24 November at our pop-up marquee in Cambridge Gardens Park (22-24 Trinity Drive, Cambridge Gardens) to:

  • view the concept designs
  • chat to the PLAYCE consultant and Council staff
  • give us your feedback on the idea and the concept designs, and
  • enjoy a free BBQ.

If you can't make it on the day, you will also be able to view the design and fill in our feedback form here from 20 November.
