We want to hear from you about finding employment.
Council’s Neighbourhood Renewal Team have heard from the residents in Kingswood and North St Marys communities that it can be hard to find stable employment. So we’ve developed the ‘Gap Filler’ research project. The project aims to better understand your experiences when looking for work, and identify what challenges and opportunities exist.
Share your story
There are three easy ways you can share your story and contribute to the project:
Organise a time to have a chat in a local park or café and enjoy a coffee on us.
Give us a call and chat over the phone.
Complete the online survey, which is available below and on the right hand side of this page, until Wednesday 3 April.
To organise a face to face chat, or share your story over the phone, please contact Sophia Purtell on 4732 8371 or at sophia.purtell@penrith.city.

Council has
received feedback from the community that local people are struggling to find stable
employment. We are currently working
on the ‘Gap Filler’ Research Project to better understand the experience of
local people who are currently unemployed or who have recently experienced
unemployment.
We’d like to speak with residents from Kingswood and North St Marys to
hear about your experiences and how you think you could be better supported to
find local employment.
