The Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre (The Joan), in partnership with Penrith City Council, is inviting Penrith LGA residents and those from surrounding areas, to have their say in a new survey about our city’s performing arts hub.
For 30 years, The Joan has presented the best in music, theatre and dance as well as community festivals, shows and events – all from its hub in the heart of Penrith.
Now, we want to hear from you to help us evolve The Joan into the future. Share your thoughts on programming, accessibility, amenities and more.
The survey results will provide us with an understanding of the tastes and interests of our diverse community - and ensure The Joan’s offering is reflective and that our performing arts hub is one of the best in Western Sydney.
The survey is open for 4 weeks from Monday 26 October to 5pm on Monday 23 November 2020. Those who complete the survey, will also have a chance to win one of 5 x $100 Westfield gift vouchers (T&Cs apply).
Following the survey, two community reference groups will be held via Zoom from 10am to 10.45am and 6pm to 6.45pm on Wednesday 9 December. The groups will help us to further understand and explore the themes of the survey. If you would like to join one of the reference groups, fill in your details where it indicates to do so in the survey, and we’ll be in touch with further information in due time.
