Peach Tree Creek and Lower Surveyors Creek Flood Study

Submissions closed on 21 March - thank you to everyone who took the time to have your say.

Next we will be reviewing the submissions received and submit a detailed report to council in April / May 2019 with the results of the public exhibition for its consideration to adopt the flood study.

Council prepared an overland flow flood study for the Peach Tree and Lower Surveyors Creeks catchment, which includes the suburbs of Penrith, South Penrith and Jamisontown. The flood study will help us to better understand, plan for and manage the risk of flooding across the catchment.

Council placed the draft flood study on public exhibition from 14 February to 21 March 2019 to seek comment from residents and property owners. Submissions closed on 21 March - thank you to everyone who took the time to have your say.

Next we will be reviewing the submissions received and submit a detailed report to council in April / May 2019 with the results of the public exhibition for its consideration to adopt the flood study.
