Council is developing a 10 year Resilience Action Plan aligned with the Resilient Sydney Strategy 2018 that will outline how we will respond to major shocks such as emergencies and on-going stresses that are impacting our way of life.

Why are we doing a Resilience Action Plan?

We are committed to building a more resilient city and community. This involves taking a close look at how we deal with daily pressures as well as prepare for emergencies such as extreme weather events, disease pandemics, financial crisis, and infrastructure failure.

Council needs your help to understand how we can band together to adapt, thrive and survive during tough times.

As part of the development of our Resilience Action Plan, we want to hear from you about what you do to cope and better prepare for emergencies, and to hear your thoughts on how we can better support and help each other through these tough times.
